Dear SPSC Families,
Welcome to another edition of the SPSC President's Message! I hope you enjoyed the new format we rolled out last week. This format is easier on the eyes, which allows us to get more information to you, and make better use of our website. I think it looks a lot better than our old TeamSnap messages. It also allows us to highlight our awesome local business sponsors. Give them a click, and if you can, spend locally with our sponsors.
A few important things for this week. First, we are asking all members to take five minutes for a very short survey. The survey is available here. It is only a few questions and will help the Board and me as we try to prepare for possible summer trainings, summer camps and fall season. Thank you in advance for your help!
Next, along with the survey, PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE 2020/21 season. Our numbers are very low right now. I don't know if this is because of everything going on in the world is taking up all of our collective bandwidth or if folks are concerned about fall season taking place or for other reasons. WE NEED EVERYONE TO REGISTER BY TUESDAY, JUNE 30. This will allow us to start preparing for the upcoming season, making sure we have the right coaches hired and ready to go, and enough fields and equipment ready.
You can hold your U4-U10 child's spot in the Club for ONE DOLLAR! That's right, ONE DOLLAR. That is all you need to register. We will hold your spot and then begin charging full dues once we know if fall 2020 season will go on as planned.
U11 and older players must register for Tryouts and will register for the season upon receiving their team invitation. If necessary, any amounts paid will be refunded in full.
If, for some reason, you are not ready to register I would love to hear from you as to why you are not playing or you are holding off. I would also love to hear any suggestions from members as to how the Board can ease concerns as we head into the next season. Please email me at email@example.com.
Take the survey. Register for next season. Thanks!
Stay safe, informed and healthy.
