Availability is dependent on spots open on existing teams, or the creation of whole teams.
Fall seasons begin in September and go until early November.
Spring seasons begin in April and end in early June.
Birth Years 2015 (10U) and 2016 (9U) for the 2024-2025 league year. We may also form a 2017 (8U) team.
The Academy program begins the transition towards more competitive play in Phase 2 of our Player Development Framework. Players range from beginners to those with prior experience. Our staff aligns players to receive specific training that meets their current abilities. We believe that allowing players to train with "like-minded" peers enhances the soccer experience for everyone involved. Teams are generally split between boys and girls.
All players have opportunities to receive additional training in both winter and summer months through our winter and summer training programs, specialized training days with our Director of Player Development, and can participate in our free community futsal program.
Evaluation Sessions
All Academy players are encouraged to attend evaluation sessions during the summer months. These sessions are optional, but we encourage all players to participate whenever they can. It is important to note that these sessions are not formal tryouts, but rather an opportunity for our coaching staff to observe players' skills, competitive readiness, etc., while providing incoming 9U players the opportunity to learn the 7v7 game format that they will be using this upcoming year. We believe that this is the best way to ensure that each player is placed on a team that is the right fit for them.
These sessions will take place as follows at Wyndham Hills Park/Horizon Elementary School. You do not need to sign up for anything, just come out and play.
Monday, July 22nd, 6-7pm
Wednesday, July 24th, 6-7pm
Monday, July 29th, 6-7pm
Wednesday, July 31st, 6-7pm
Teams are formed based on feedback from Coaches and/or what we see in players during evaluation sessions.
FALL-ONLY
This option will put players on a waitlist. If we have enough players to make a full roster and have a coach to fill in, we will be able to form the team, and move you off of the waitlist.
Depending on numbers, this may be a coed and multi age group.
SPRING-ONLY
We offer a spring-only option, but there must be enough players to form a team. These teams generally include new players that are joining for spring and 8U players from fall that want to move up to 9U. Teams may be coed based on the number of players that sign up. Any players who are waitlisted will be assigned to teams as roster spots become available.
