Fall seasons begin in September and go until early November.
Spring seasons begin in April and end in early June.
These programs are for birth years 2016-2017 (9U-10U) for the fall 2025 - spring 2026 year. Our In-House League is also available for any 8U (2018) players that may want to learn to play the 7v7 format early.
We have two options for players in this age range: our traditional Academy and our In-House League. Both programs are designed for players either coming out of our Junior Academy program as they enter Phase 2 of our Player Development Framework, or are new to soccer.
Either program is available to anyone, and anyone can choose to switch between programs each season, as long as there is space available.
All players have opportunities to receive additional training in both winter and summer months through our seasonal camps (separate cost) and can participate in our free community futsal program in winter months. They can also participate in Goalkeeper Training sessions during the season, at no extra cost.
Academy teams play together year-round (fall and spring seasons), competing in the MAYSA league and in one regional tournament each season. Away games and tournaments may be up to an hour away each way. We generally have so many teams that we place them in each of MAYSA’s divisions from most to least competitive, and then hold evaluations in summer months to form teams that can best compete in these divisions. This process is necessary because of the timing for when MAYSA requires our teams to be submitted to them.
Uniforms are purchased from Soccer.com at an additional cost on a two-year cycle (cost round $130). Current uniforms can be worn through spring 2026.
Player Profile
Players in this program should be able to dribble and pass confidently with both feet, change direction and speed while in possession, and begin to find space when off the ball. They should also be showing the initiative and enthusiasm for learning by seeking opportunities to train and play on their own and at home.
In-House teams play together either year-round or per season (fall and spring). Players are primarily sorted into coed teams that provide good balance for games within the environment. Single -gender teams may be available depending on the numbers of players in the program.
Games are generally at 11:30am on Saturday mornings in Sun Prairie, but there may be some away games at different times and up to 20 minutes away playing with neighboring clubs.
One game jersey is provided.
Player Profile
Players in this program are generally working on learning the fundamentals of how to handle a ball, field awareness, and team play. It is also a perfect environment for 8U players that are looking to move up from the 4v4 format to 7v7 early.
