Travel Coach Application Process

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in coaching in the Sun Prairie Soccer Club (SPSC). It is people like you that create great opportunities for children in our communities. Thank you for taking the time to coach our youth and instill in them a love for the game of soccer.

Before filling out your Interest in Coaching Form, please read the following so that you are familiar with the policy of the SPSC’s coach selection process.

Travel Classic Coach

  • Submitting an Interest Form does NOT guarantee you a coaching position.
  • Interviews will be held ONLY if there is more than one applicant per team.
  • If there is more than one applicant, interviews are mandatory.
  • Assistant travel coaches are selected by the head coach.
  • Submittal deadlines are final – no exceptions!
  • All parts of the form are required. Failure to submit any of the sections will result in a withdrawal from the process and you will not be considered for the position.
  • If there is not a team in the travel classic program for the age group you are interested in and you are selected as the head coach for the travel classic program, you will be asked to serve as the travel recreational coach for the same age group. You have the right to decline the position. If you decline the position, the selected recreational coach will be assigned to fulfill the role.

Travel Recreational Coach

  • Submitting an Interest Form does NOT guarantee you a coaching position but only notifies us of your interest to coach a team.
  • There will NOT be interviews for coaching a recreational team.
  • Assistant recreational coaches are selected by the head coach.
  • Your Interest Form must be submitted prior to the season. The sooner you submit your interest the easier it is on the association. This will also help us to notify you sooner so that you can plan accordingly.
  • All parts of the form are required. Failure to submit any of the sections will result in a withdrawal from the process and you will not be considered for the position.
