On September 16, 2007, the Sun Prairie Youth Soccer Association and Zia FC, two Sun Prairie soccer clubs, agreed to merge into one club - the Sun Prairie Soccer Club (SPSC). The merger was voted on and approved by the membership of both clubs. The SPSC assumed responsibility starting with the 2008-2009 season.
The Sun Prairie Soccer Club (SPSC) is a proud member of US Youth Soccer, the largest youth sports organization in the United States. SPSC registers over 600 players annually, ages 5 to 19, and offers programs that provide a fun, safe and healthy environment for players.
The SPSC is governed by a ten member Board of Directors. The members of the board serve two year terms. See Contact Us for a listing of current board members.
The board meets 2nd Sunday of each month at 6:00 pm at the East Side City Hall (Corner of Church and Highway 19). View the club calendar to confirm dates, times and location of meetings.
The SPSC believes that every player on the field should have the necessary skills and confidence to engage, possess and control the soccer ball. A team comprised of possession-oriented players will dictate the tempo of the game, create more opportunities to score and deny the opponent that same luxury.
