Wham! Bam! Sha-zam! Have you been keeping up with our competitive teams? We are so happy to hear good news from so many of our teams! You guys are simply outstanding and we are so all so happy for your success!
We wanted to pass along this message from Coach Kat to all our players. We are so happy to have had the opportunity to work with her and wish her nothing but the very best!
I hope this email finds everyone well.
I wanted to take the time to thank each and everyone of you for your love and support towards the club and myself.
I have been very fortunate to be apart of Sun Prairie Soccer Club over the past 2 seasons. I have watched how we have grown and progressed individual players as well as the club on a whole.
Over the past 4 weeks I have been struggling with all sorts of different minor sicknesses. I have always had the motive of get it done and die later! I have never really been one to complain about any sort of sickness, i would much rather push through and get my work done. That attitude has been great up until now!
I am currently battling my blood pressure as well as a stomach ulcer and soft tissue damage in my stomach as well as continuous headaches and migrains.
My time as a soccer coach has very quickly had to come to a halt while I work with my doctors to get myself better. I am currently resting in the comfort of my own home while I battle through these symptoms with much needed rest and time.
I wanted to give my sincere apologies that I have had to cut my time short with you all and want to hope this is not the end.
I do hope that within the near future I return to coaching, whether that be with yourselves a different club or even a high school. Who knows what the future holds.
I am learning a whole new chapter to my life and soon will have a loving son in a addition to my new family ( who knows where my husbands job could move us to! ( my son could be the future prospect of SPSC!! )
I want you all to know that your kind words mean so much to Eric and myself as we get through this.
No body said life was easy and I'm sure given time this will all pass soon.
It's the hardest thing I have ever had to do, accepting to sit and rest and not work is something that is not really in my nature but I know I have to.
I want to say thank you for being an incredible club to work with on a professional level as well as gaining friendships out of this wonderful experience.
I hope you all have a fantastic end to the season and I will be sure to stay in close contact to find out how everyone is doing.
Just a reminder for our littlest soccer players! Coach Melissa and her team of helpers will be holding weather make-ups and an extra class for Saturday, October 22 and October 29 at the same time and location. Please let us know if you have any questions! Looking forward to seeing everyone for the final 2 weekends of soccer!
